How to use this for preparation

  • Mark the deleted sections, examples and exercise items in your book first.
  • Chapters 5, 7, 9, 10 and 12 give two MCQs each, and chapters 3, 4, 5 and 7 give four short questions each. Give these the most time.
  • Many numericals are removed, so practise the remaining ones of each chapter thoroughly.
  • Chapter 11 has only one short question but shares long question Q9 with chapter 12, so do not skip it.
  • Practise past papers, but skip any question that comes from a deleted topic.
