It applies to BISE Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan, plus the Azad Kashmir board, and shows how the 50-mark theory paper is spread across the five chapters.
With only five chapters, Computer Science is very scoring once you know where the marks fall. This scheme shows the MCQ split, how the short questions are grouped across Questions 2, 3 and 4 (including the two halves of Chapter 5), and which chapters carry the long questions. Use it to target your revision efficiently.

Chapter 5 is split into two halves — 5(a) is the first half and 5(b) the second half. Qs = questions offered from that chapter; you attempt any 4 of the 6 in each of Q.2, Q.3 and Q.4.

Important Things to Know
- Chapter 5 appears twice in the short questions (split into first and second halves), making it the highest-weight chapter — revise it fully.
- Long questions come only from chapters 1, 3 and 4, but you must still cover chapters 2 and 5 for MCQs and short questions.
- The 2025 paper follows the SLO-based pattern, so it differs a little from older papers; even so, roughly 90% of this scheme is expected to hold.
- This scheme is built around Punjab boards. Cover every chapter fully rather than relying on the scheme alone.
