Use this pairing scheme to plan revision instead of studying every chapter equally. It shows which chapters carry more MCQs, which chapters are grouped in short and long questions, and how much weight goes to knowledge-based versus analytical questions — so study time goes where it actually counts before the exam.

Important Things to Know
- Part (a) and part (b) of long questions aren’t fixed to one chapter — either part can carry a numerical or theory question from any chapter in that pair, and this can differ across boards.
- Both parts of a question can be numerical, both can be theory, or one of each.
- This year’s paper follows the SLO-based pattern, so it differs slightly from previous years. Even so, around 90% of this scheme is expected to hold.
- This scheme is built around Punjab boards. Students should still prepare all chapters fully rather than relying on the scheme alone.
