PECTAA has reduced the Islamiat Lazmi Class 9 syllabus for the 2027 board exams under its Smart Syllabus, also called the Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP). Five ahadith, several lessons and chapter 7 of the textbook are removed. Below is the full list and the 2027 paper pattern.

How to use this for preparation
- Skip chapter 7 and the removed ahadith, lessons and personalities.
- Learn the translation of the remaining ahadith of chapter 1 first; Q5 (10 marks) comes only from them.
- Chapters 2 and 3 are complete, give four MCQs each and each has its own long question. Prepare them fully.
- For Q6, prepare at least one personality from each of the four groups in chapter 6.
- Practise the end-of-chapter exercises; all short and long questions come from them.
